The Markthalle Langenfeld was opened 20 years ago and has been a popular meeting place for young and old ever since. It is considered the heart of Langenfeld's city centre and not only because of its location. Therefore, it was also a concern of the politicians to modernise the market hall. The focus was on the redesign of the rotunda.
Redesign and modernisation; an antipole to the hustle and bustle
As a reliable partner, we implemented the design concept of the architecture firm Archidesign. This project made it particularly clear how individual customer wishes can be. Thanks to our five-axis CNC milling machine, we were able to produce the organic wall elements and the benches without any problems. The benches were also finished with professional seat upholstery. A highlight of this work was also the suspended ceiling with a diameter of 14 metres.
